The Annoyances of Being a Hero

The Bloodwolf has been defeated, and the day has been saved. Puss attempts to cope with the fact that he was not The Chosen One.
Tropes:
- As You Know: The episode opens with a brief recap of the entire Bloodwolf saga which turns out to be Puss telling the story to the Senior Puss Squad. They are all a little confused as to why Puss is telling them this, especially of the final battle since they were all there for that and it only just happened yesterday.
- Basilisk and Cockatrice: San Lorenzo is attacked by a flock of Cockatrices from the Netherworld.
- Breaking the Fellowship: The Senior Puss Squad formed to deal with the Bloodwolf, and now that he has been defeated, they go their separate ways.
- Hellgate: As seen at the end of the previous episode, the portal to the Netherworld is still open and things are free to climb out of it into San Lorenzo.
- Heroic BSoD: As he has before, Puss reacts poorly to Dulcinea being the hero over him and he decides to quit being a hero to be Dulcinea's "sidekick" (although he is acting more like a cheerleader) instead.
- Meet My Good Friends Lefty and Righty: When asked if he has a plan to deal with the Cockatrices, Puss says he has two: "Mr. Righty, and the ever-so-sneaky Capitan Lefty."
- Reforged Blade: Puss has himself a plain generic sword as a replacement for his broken rapier. Pajuna presenting him with his repaired rapier marks the point where he's officially back in action.
- Took a Level in Badass: Being mopey, Puss forces Dulcinea into being the protector of San Lorenzo and makes her fight all the thieves instead of him. While her relative inexperience shows at first, over time she is able to refine her technique and actually becomes a competent swordfighter.
- Wham Line: When Cockatrices invade San Lorenzo, Dulcinea asks Artephius to close the Netherworld portal. He laughs and casually remarks that once opened, a Netherworld portal can never be closed.
- What Could Possibly Go Wrong?: Dulcinea worries about the Cockatrices being loose in the desert. Puss laughs it off, saying "What harm could they do?" Cut to the Cockatrices running amok on the Thieves Market.
