Puss in Boots has invited the Skeletons to live in San Lorenzo, but their reception is less than warm. Feeling jealous, Uli raids the San Lorenzo vault to find something that will make him more feared than the skeletons.
Tropes:
- Big Damn Heroes: The Skeletons step in to put a stop to Uli's attack, earning the respect of the citizens of San Lorezno.
- Continuity Nod:
- As Uli goes through the various treasures in the vault, one of the ones he considers is the Gauntlet of Chirotheca.
- As Puss tells a story, Puss Dos chimes in asking for clarification.
- Dance Party Ending: The Skeletons throw a spooky party for the San Lorenzans and everyone joins in. The upbeat music however slowly takes an ominous tone as the episode ends on a shot of the city, reminding us that the Bloodwolf statue is still there.
- Deus Exit Machina: Puss tries to rally the Senior Puss Squad to aid him, but they are out of town secretly buying themselves some dolls.
- Energy Bow: Looking for a treasure in the San Lorenzo vault suitable for evil needs, Uli finds an unnammed bow with a dragon motif that generates magical exploding arrows when drawn.
- Heel–Face Turn: Dulcinea is willing to teach Uli that he should try being a good instead of evil.
