Volume 10 Bonus Chapter: My First Meeelt
A younger Kishika is doting on her younger sisters while her mother reads a story to her younger brothers. Her mother thanks her for taking such good care of her younger siblings, with Kishika responding that it's her duty as the oldest.
Kishika's mother says she's proud of her, but thinks to herself that she wishes she had doted on her more. Despite wanting to pat Kishika's head, her mother worries that Kishika would hate being treated like that.
During after-school clean up, Kishika is strengthening her resolve to be mature while the other students goof around with the gloves. When one of them lands on Kishika's head, she regresses into her infant state for the first time. She quickly recovers and scolds the other children into getting started on the cleaning. Still, she catches herself eyeing box of gloves with a twinkle in her eye.
At home, Kishika's mother has gotten her youngest to lay down for a nap. She glances around to make sure she's alone, then picks up a pillow, pretending that she's holding Kishika.
