Go To

Ancient Chinese stone-soldiers and a jade dragon are put on display at the New York Natural History Museum and Shredder and Krang have a use for both.

Tropes:

  • Artistic License – Art: While China did use marble to create ceremonial statues, their stone soldiers are more famously made from terracotta.
  • Expy: The marble soldiers are based off the Terracotta Army of Xi'an.
  • Hidden Depths: Splinter is a natural at Basketball, managing to beat the turtles 4-to-1 on his first game.
  • Power Crystal: The pearl on display in the museum is so pure, Krang could use it for his tractor beam and bring the Technodrome back to Earth.
  • Rock Monster: The stone warriors in the museum are made of an ionically charged marble, which Krang manages to bring to life using the Technodrome.
