• Ascended Extra: Monsieur Mallah's made appearances before but usually played a much smaller, minor role in previous episodes with practically no lines. Here, he finally gets his own A Day in the Limelight episode with the Brain and finally gets to talk.
• But Not Too Gay: The Brain and Mallah essentially have the role of a married couple, their robotic minions are portrayed as their children, and when Brian comes over, Mallah plays the role of an annoyed spouse who gets sick and tired of their partner's family member overstaying their welcome. In spite of it all, Mallah and Brain don't get too romantically affectionate despite all clues pointing towards them being a married gay couple.
• A Day in the Limelight: The Titans play a much smaller role in this episode, as The Brain and Monsieur Mallah take center stage.
• Multi-Part Episode: This story is told across two episodes. In the first, Brian moves in and causes strife, and in the second, everyone has to work together in order to save the Brain's henchmen.
