A new villain, the PP (Pet Peeve) Goblin, shows up and creates living manifestations of the Teen Titans' pet peeves to distract them while enacting his evil plan.
Tropes:
- Demonic Possession: The Pet Peeves that the PP Goblin creates are able to jump into the Titans to make them enact the peeves of each other, leading to infighting.
- Disappointed by the Motive: It turns out that the PP Goblin's scheme was to make the perfect hashbrowns after stealing the ultimate heat-resistant pan from the museum, which Cyborg expresses disappointment at...and then gets over it when the Goblin offers to share the meal with the Titans.
- The Immune: Beast Boy starts as the only member of the Titans to have enough self-control to avoid manifesting his own Pet Peeve, and teaches the other Titans how to train theirs like pets.
- Literal Metaphor: The Pet Peeves manifest as literal goblin-pets, barking and acting like dogs.
- Toilet Humor: The Titans waste absolutely no time calling the Pet Peeve Goblin the "Pee Pee" goblin and asking if his powers are toilet-related.
- With Catlike Tread: The episode starts with the goblin sneaking through a darkened museum, approaching an exhibit encased in glass...and then loudly smashes it open, cueing the Teen Titans.
