Sticky Joe goes on a wild adventure in order to open a can of beans.
Tropes:
- A Day in the Limelight: The episode focuses on the hobo that's living in the Titan Tower, while the Teen Titans themselves only appear briefly at the start and end.
- Fate Worse than Death: At one point, Sticky Joe accidentally gets himself into the Phantom Zone, and encounters a monstrous head that gives him a choice between two doors: one that leads to unimaginable torment and pain, and one that leads to the monster's studio apartment so they can watch Sweet Home Alabama together. Sticky Joe chooses the former, causing the head to admit it was a bluff and feel so dejected that he teleports Sticky Joe out of the Zone.
- The Greatest Story Never Told: At the end of Sticky Joe's adventure, he ends up back on the couch in Titan Tower where he started, just in time for the Titans to return and assume that nothing happened at all...despite the entire city burning outside of their window.
- Spanner in the Works: By complete accident, Sticky Joe's attempts to keep his hands on a can of beans leads him to the Legion of Doom headquarters and saving the Justice League from a death ray...only to reactivate the death ray to reobtain his can of beans.
