Robin becomes jealous of Kid Flash, accusing him of being a "one-trick pony" overly reliant on his speed and then challenging him to a race, with the winner becoming the leader of the Titans. When Robin inevitably loses the first few races, he tries to stay positive, believing himself to still be a "multiple-trick pony" in comparison.
- Combat Pragmatist: After both training hard and believing in himself fail, Robin is able to win the final race against Kid Flash at the end of the episode by whacking him in the knee with his staff at the starting line.
