"Strike"
Continuing from the previous episode, the Cloud 9 employees have gone on strike to protest Glenn's firing. Jeff, the district manager, comes by the store to negotiate with Amy and Jonah. Dina tries to break the strike. Eventually, Jeff convinces the team to return to their jobs.
Tropes:
- Didn't Think This Through: As Jeff tells it, the walkout may have been a dramatic, triumphant moment, but these are people who have no experience in planning strikes, so they falter pretty quickly.
- Failed Attempt at Drama: Jonah and Amy plan to describe Cloud 9 as a rat just as the giant inflatable rat they bought finishes blowing up. Unfortunately, they mistakenly got a giant teddy bear instead.
- Heteronormative Crusader: The strike gets hijacked by a transphobic group who protest trans rights.
- Strike Episode: As the title implies, the episode is about the employees of Cloud 9 staging a strike on behalf of Glenn.
- Tyrant Takes the Helm: Dina takes over as manager at the beginning of the episode.
