* NearVillainVictory: The Xindi succeed in destroying Earth at the beginning of the episode. In the climax, they've found the last human colony and shoot Archer, which would ensure their victory. Fortunately, Archer the triggers the reactor breach and kills the parasites.

* CelebrityParadox: Movie Night has the film ''Film/RosemarysBaby''. Elisha Cook, Irene Kelly, and Gail Bonney all appeared in episodes of ''Serie/StarTrekTheOriginalSeries''.

Two of the Xindi ships get disabled, but the ''Intrepid'' is forced to withdraw, and ''Enterprise'''s bridge is torn off, killing the bridge officers. The Xindi-Reptillian soldiers start shooting at the ship, then Archer remembers that Phlox said that a subspace implosion would kill the parasites. Therefore, Archer, Phlox, and T'Pol work to make one. Phlox and T'Pol are killed and Archer is shot, but he manages to push a lever and create the implosion, thus destroying the parasites. With the parasites gone, Archer wakes up in the new timeline, concussed but mostly OK.

** When ''Enterprise'' takes Xindi prisoners after a battle in which the ship's warp engines are crippled, Trip just suggests spacing 7 of them since their brig only has space for 2 of them. T'Pol overrules him, though, and has them confined to crew quarters with heavy guard.
** During the climactic battle, TheBridge is hit and the command crew is spaced.

* TheUnreveal: T'Pol says the weapon had already been deployed when ''Enterprise'' found the construction site, but it is never shown how they managed to get back to Earth in time to see it destroyed with their warp engines crippled. Mike Sussman revealed that the original plan was for them to have used a Xindi subspace vortex, but this was dropped.

T'Pol then explains that ''Enterprise'', ''Intrepid'', and two other ships tried to lead the last six thousand humans to Ceti Alpha V (with ''Enterprise'' being the only ship that wasn't gunned down) and they're now living in a refugee camp. Soval offered to take T'Pol back to Vulcan, but she decided to stay behind and care for the amnesiac Archer. She then proves she isn't lying by telling him about Margaret Mullin, a woman Archer once proposed to.

* RammingAlwaysWorks: T'Pol's maneuver successfully takes out both Xindi ships, but also damages one of ''Enterprise's'' warp nacelles, leading to the ship being too slow to thwart the Xindi's plans to destroy Earth.

** When ''Enterprise'' takes Xindi prisoners after a battle in which the ship's warp engines are crippled, Trip just suggests spacing them. T'Pol overrules him, though, and has them confined.

* KillEmAll: The entire cast is killed before Archer pulls the reset switch. Travis was killed during the Xindi mission, Trip, Malcolm, and Hoshi are spaced when the bridge is destroyed, T'Pol and Phlox are shot defending engineering, and Archer dies from his injuries just before the ship explodes.

* WhatTheHellHero: T'Pol uses a maneuver to destroy two Xindi ships that ends up crippling ''Enterprise''. Trip asks her what she was thinking afterwards.

''Enterprise'' was unable to find the Xindi weapon and once got close, but was attacked by Xindi-Reptilians, killing many people including Travis and severely damaging the ship. The Xindi were thereby able to destroy Earth and many of its colonies, leaving only 6,000 humans alive, and are now hunting for the rest of the humans to kill. This revelation makes Archer cry.
