A woman anonymously leaves an erotic message on the tape recorder Jerry used to record his routine the previous night. He, George, and Kramer are instantly obsessed. At Monk's the next day, Elaine tells George that she recorded the message, causing George to become attracted to her. Jerry gets the number of a woman who was seated at the back of the club (thinking she left the message) and goes on a date with her, and is baffled when she doesn't seem interested in him.
Meanwhile, George tries to order a hair restoration cream from China, and Kramer tries out his new camcorder.
