Apocalypse How: According to Rubi, a Class 2 apocalypse is imminent if the barrier isn't fixed, the human world will be flooded with monster energy which would spark a war between monsters and humanity.
Coincidental Broadcast: The episode begins with Kasumi watching a broadcast talking about natural disasters and how unpredictable they are, the barrier collapsing causes an earthquake to start happening where she lives, followed by a massive crack in the sky revealing Yokai Academy. Later in the episode, the same newscaster is talking about "mother-in-law/daughter-in-law problems" at the same time Mizore, Kurumu and Yukari's mothers are all arguing over Tsukune.
Heroic Sacrifice: Outer!Moka doesn't hesitate to swap the cracked rosary with her own, effectively killing herself to keep both worlds safe.
The Reveal: The same Dark Lord that created Moka's rosary was the one who created the great barrier that surrounds Yokai Academy.
Sacrificed Basic Skill for Awesome Training: While Inner!Moka is a great fighter, the fact that she was only ever released for fighting left her time for nothing else and it shows. When asked what to add to the Newspaper, she recommends a martial arts piece. When she tries involving herself in their playful flirting with Tsukune, it comes across as awkward and terrifying. When she tries doing the longing tender moments he used to have with Outer!Moka, there is no real passion coming from her.
The Voiceless: Yukari's mother speaks predominantly in gestures (even though she has a voice actress), but everyone can understand her anyway.
