Tropes
- Call-Back: This season, and by extension the saga, opens with Agent Washington's narration before he is interrupted due to the antics of the Reds and Blues, just like the opening to Season 9 and the Freelancer saga with Epsilon.
- Retcon: The Season 10 finale implied that the Reds and Blues returned to Blood Gulch, with it now being portrayed by the new Halo 4 engine. However, this episode reveals that the new location is not Blood Gulch, and that the Reds and Blues have crash-landed and are stranded there while they were on their way back to Blood Gulch.
- Tank Goodness: Sarge's idea of renovations is to take the Blues' tank and fire it at his own fortifications.
