The main six really wants to see what's inside the teachers' lounge.
Tropes:
- All for Nothing: The teachers' lounge is.... really plain, except for the broken coffee machine. Subverted since it's disguising the real lounge: a luxorious place with a hot tub, masseuses, and serves cocktails.
- Bait-and-Switch: When the kids try to convince the teacher guarding the teacher's lounge to leave his post, they claim that Miss Grotke's lime green convertible is on fire. The teacher seemingly sees right through them when he says Miss Grotke does not own one such car. ...but he does! Looks like the kids knew what they were doing after all.
- Imagine Spot:
- Gretchen imagines the teachers' lounge as a hot spot for science discoveries.
- Spinelli imagines the lounge as a gymnasium for working out.
- Mikey: A calm yin-yang based area
- Oh, Crap!: When the kids try to wheedle the teacher guarding the teacher's lounge into leaving his post, one of their last attempts involve crying wolf that Miss Grotke's lime green convertible has caught on fire. Said teacher informs them matter-of-factly that Miss Grotke doesn't own a lime green convertible... because he himself owns that car! This succeeds at making him leave his post.
- Professional Butt-Kisser: The main six suck up to Miss Grotke so one of them can go into the teachers' lounge. But it was all for naught when Miss Lemon picked up the folder instead.
