Cutter sends the team to investigate an abandoned house where he predicts an anomaly will appear. They then have to deal with a camouflage-capable creature from the future, and an obstructive detective who seems to have a history with the house.
- All Myths Are True: The Camouflage Beast's species is hypothesized to be the inspiration for ghost sightings, poltergeists, and even gremlins.
- Creepy Child: Emily is one of these. It turns out that she does this intentionally to keep people away from the house and protect them from the Camo Beast. When the creature leaves through the anomaly, she goes back to being a normal little girl.
- Griping About Gremlins: The Camo Beast is a dead ringer for one, looking like the unholy offspring of a bat and a lemur.
- Mistaken for Murderer: Danny Quinn believes that Ryan Mason is responsible for the deaths of his little brother and the other boy who died in the house.
- Never Found the Body: At the end of the episode, Danny points out that they never found Patrick's body, and thinks there's a chance he went through the anomaly.
- Obstructive Bureaucrat: Detective Constable Danny Quinn threatens to have the team arrested if he catches them near the house again, and follows through on this threat with Conner later in the episode.
