The Rangers have to get the Phantom Ranger's Power Ruby back, or else the latter will perish. Unfortunately, getting it back becomes complicated when Divatox has them face a corrupted Turbo Megazord.
- Death from Above: Crosspatch is one of the few monsters of Turbo to be destroyed before growing (as the battery pack fell on him with explosive effect).
- Didn't Think This Through: Porto sending out Metal Mangler (A monster completely made of metal) to try and take out the rangers super magnet (it ends as well as you expect).
- Put on a Bus: The Phantom Ranger departs for good seeing that the Earth is in good hands with the turbo rangers. He would return next season for a couple more outings.
- Sword Fight: TJ vs Crosspatch.
- The Unreveal: The Phantom Ranger leaves with really nothing unveiled about his origins or why he came to Earth in the first place. There were plans to shed some light on the matter in the next season but various reasons prevented those from happening.
Word of God eventually stated that he’s the manifestation of the spirits of all past rangers plus all rangers yet to be. His biography on the back of his action figure supports this. - Voice of the Legion: Metal Mangler spoke in a distorted feminine manner.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Metal Mangler was pulled by the magnet but was not seen on Earth, leaving their fate unknown. It is possible that they were destroyed by the impact of the pull, however, though the Rangers don’t acknowledge having any such event take place.
