Recap / Power Rangers Turbo S1E23 The Phantom Phenomenon

Go To

A mysterious spaceship appears around the same time an invisible force is causing trouble for Divatox.

  • Ascended Extra: VRV Master in Carranger was not a proper member of the team, as well as a one-shot character. His Power Rangers equivalent is bumped to Ranger status.
  • Epic Fail: Bulk harasses an innocent woman because he somehow thinks she's robbing the bank, yet is easily distracted by Elgar, not even looking at him, while he and the Piranhatrons actually rob the bank.
  • Greed: Even though she has enough money for the equivalent of 10 billion dollars on Earth, Divatox cries she practically broke and decides to rob a bank.
  • Hard Truth Aesop: Justin makes a promise to Nico not to tell anyone about the spaceship, a spaceship he realized may belong to the Phantom Ranger but doesn't tell anyone about it, not even the other Rangers until Divatox and her forces find it. As Ashley says, promises can be broken if there's enough reason.
  • Sixth Ranger: Although the Rangers have the Blue Senturion in the role, who is surprisingly absent in this episode, the Phantom Ranger is introduced.
  • Visible Invisibility: The Phantom Ranger can be completely invisible when he remains still, but whenever he moves, his body is blurred and somewhat visible.
