In preparation for his next Battle Frontier challenge, Ash tries to help Sceptile recover his lost moves. Unfortunately, when the frustrated Poké:mon runs off and Ash chases after him, the two end up getting washed down the stream. Can Ash and Sceptile find their way back, and will Sceptile ever regain his attack abilities?
- A Day in the Limelight: For Sceptile.
- The Dreaded: Beedrill swarms are once again a cause for alarm. Too bad Scott was too late to issue a warning about it (Ash having to run after Sceptile before he arrived, and when they get attacked by Beedrill, he loses Sceptile's Pokéball, gets separated from Pikachu, who has fallen into a river, and Sceptile gets injured).
- Growling Gut: May, Brock and Max are all for searching for Ash and Sceptile all night, but their internal alarm clocks remind them they have to eat supper.
- He's Back!: Sceptile recovers his mojo--err, attacks-- when he saw Ash in mortal peril. He uses Leaf Blade to free himself and Pikachu from Team Rocket's robot arms, then a Quick Attack to catch Ash midfall, and finally a Bullet Seed to cushion their fall.
