Brock falls ill one morning so Ash and Misty insist they will take care of all his usual chores while he recuperates. Hilarity ensues when this turns out to be more difficult than anticipated.

- Big Damn Heroes: Thanks to Golbat and Pineco, Brock recovers from his sickness just in time to assist Ash and Misty in driving off Team Rocket and getting their Pokémon back in the process.
- Butt-Monkey: Even in his dreams, Brock can't catch a break in the romance department.
- Continuity Nod: Team Rocket attempts to capture Ash's Pokémon by luring them with a cardboard Ash puppet and one of the voice-changing megaphones from "The Case of the K-9 Caper", which was shown to have a setting to make Jessie's voice sound like Ash.
- Cordon Bleugh Chef: Misty gets too creative when trying to make stew. The resulting dish is one so disgusting that Ash won't even touch it.
- Extreme Omnivore: For some strange reason, Jessie loves Misty's Mystery Stew despite everyone else thinking it's gross. Then again, she did grow up eating snow as a treat.
- Sick Episode: The episode revolves around Brock getting a fever from exhaustion while Ash and Misty take care of his usual tasks
- Also crosses out as a Fever Dream Episode as we get to see what happens in Brock's mind during his illness.
