- Not So Stoic: Usually being a stoic and no nonsense person, Bea loosens up significantly once sweets are involved.
- Offscreen Moment of Awesome: Ash is revealed to have battled his way back to the Great Class after getting bumped down to the Normal Class three episodes ago, which is shown in a series of still images.
- Sweet Tooth: Bea and her Pokémon fit this role perfectly, enough for her to mellow out and share with Pikachu and Riolu.
