Ash and Goh return to Galar to see a World Coronation Series Master Class battle. This time Leon, the title holder, is being challenged by one of Galar's Gym Leaders, the Dragon-Type master Raihan.
- Bring It: Galarian Farfetch'd does this gesture; in Japanese, it even shouts "Come on!" (as a pun of its name, Kamonegi)
- The Cameo: Chairman Rose makes an appearance during Raihan and Leon's battle.
- Sobble appears at the very end of the episode.
- Close-Range Combatant: Riolu is a close-range fighter compared to Galarian Farfetch'd using its leek; this gives it an advantage since it can close in and attack in the same time it takes for Farfetch'd to ready its leek.
- Cuteness Proximity: Sonia just coos over Pikachu and Raboot to the point of squeezing their ears.
- Defeat Means Friendship: The Galarian Farfetch'd allows Ash to catch it after its defeat to Riolu.
- Mister Exposition: Sonia appears to give the background of the Darkest Day.
- One-Hit KO: Goh's Farfetch'd gets wrecked with one Brutal Swing from its Galarian counterpart.
- Victory by Endurance: Riolu wins its battle with Farfetch'd this way. It's revealed to know Reversal to boot, which grows in power the lower the user's HP is.
