When Ash and Cilan are about to begin a practice battle, a Pokemon named Deino interrupts them. After another Deino appears, Ash and Iris battle and defeat them, but fail to capture them. A day care worker named Bobby appears and takes the trio to his place of work. Unfortunately for Bobby, he has no experience with taking care of Dragon-types. They all help him with the job. The day care has a third Deino, who is very shy.

Irony: When a boy shows up and moves toward Deino, Iris thinks he's Deino's trainer and yells at him for taking so long, and demands him to apologize. The boy tells her he actually came to pick up his Foongus, making Iris apologize herself.
Shrinking Violet: The third Deino at the day care is really shy and prefers to be alone.
The Strongman: Bobby does all of the work by himself each day, which is how he got his big muscles.
