For once, Emolga and Snivy agree on something. It's probably about Leavanny, and it's probably not complimentary.
A herd of hungry Durant swipe forest leaves around where the twerps are camping out, and kidnap Axew along with them. Emolga and the newly-evolved Leavanny lead the charge to rescue the young Dragon-type.
This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
- Bitch Slap: Snivy tries to give one to Emolga after she laughs at her for wearing Leavanny's leaf hat, Emolga effortlessly dodges it.
- A Day in the Limelight: The evolution episode for Ash's Swadloon/Leavanny.
- Real Men Wear Pink: The first thing Leavanny does after he evolves is make leaf hats for all of Ash, Iris, and Cilan's Pokémon, as well as a group of random Sewaddle.
- Ironically, the two Pokémon least interested in playing along with Leavanny's nurturting nature are female: Snivy and Emolga.
