Recap / Pokemon EA 4 Friendships In The Forest

Go To

Prongs and Viper come into conflict with each other, and they need to learn to work together to save Flash when he is snatched from camp by an Oaking.

  • Combination Attack: Rarity performs one with her Herbarald and Pyruby, hitting an Energy Ball with Fire Punch. This teamwork inspires Flash to try to do the same with Prongs and Viper, and though the two struggle at first they eventually pull it off, combning Energy Ball and Flamethrower against Big Score, Rickashay, and Boulder.
  • Hair Flip: During the training battle between Flash and Rarity, Rarity bats her hair back before showing off the Combination Attack between Herbarald and Pyruby.
  • Poor Communication Kills: Everyone initially thinks that Oaking is a threat to them, since it kidnapped Flash from camp. But, it turns out it was just looking for help since Big Score and his goons were stealing all the Oakids in the forest, and it needed help saving them.
  • Too Much Alike: This is the main source of conflict between Prongs and Viper. As Doc and Twilight note, they are both very similar in that they hated humans before meeting Flash and are both very stuborn and serious, meaning those types of personalites can clash with each other very easily.
  • Villains Want Mercy: Once the Oakids are all free, and Big Score and his goons are left defenseless against Oaking, Big Score tries to talk his way out of it by saying it was all just a "misunderstanding". It doesn't work.
  • Unwanted Assistance: During the training battle, Prongs saves Viper from an Energy Ball by grabbing his tail and pulling him out of the way. Viper does not appreciate this, saying he doesn't need his help, and the two start arguing in the middle of the battle.
