The goats enter the knowledge treasure house and begin searching for animals to add to their encyclopedia, which Wolffy steals for himself. When they chase him outside, the goats find some elephants and learn some facts about them.
This episode contains the following tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch: After learning that elephant tusks are considered valuable, Wolffy brings out a gun and the goats worry he may hurt the elephants with it. Thankfully, the gun shoots out a toothbrush and Wolffy helps the goats to brush the elephants' tusks instead.
- Enfant Terrible: Subverted. While his kid self in Pleasant Goat Fun Class is usually sensible for someone who is otherwise rude, Wolffy has no qualms in bringing out a gun to potentially shoot an elephant in this episode after Weslie discusses how hunters hurt elephants for their tusks. Thankfully, the gun shoots out a toothbrush that Wolffy uses to brush the elephants' tusks instead of actually hurting them.
- Establishing Series Moment: Or, rather, establishing season moment. We're introduced to the knowledge treasure house and it's explained that the goats learn about animals so they can add them to the encyclopedia.
- Evil Poacher: The concept is discussed when Tibbie notices one of the elephants has a missing tusk. Weslie explains that people hunt down elephants for their tusks due to how valuable they are.
- Heli-Critter: Wolffy thinks elephants can spin their trunks around like propellers to help them fly, but Weslie corrects him, saying they can't do that.
- Open-Door Opening: The first thing the goats are seen doing at the beginning of the episode is to open the door to the knowledge treasure house.
- Scooby Stack: The goats form a column when they peek their heads around the door to the knowledge treasure house.
- Stealth Hi/Bye: Wolffy appears completely out of the blue to take the encyclopedia, surprising the goats.
