When the crew gets a flight taking journalists to Berlin to cover an important speech by President Kennedy, Maggie, who campaigned for him, is determined to meet JFK no matter what. While on assignment, Kate helps a fellow East German courier defect when she is compromised. Collette deals with memories of German occupation and finds herself unable to forgive the German people for their part in the War.
