- Hard-Work Montage: This occurs when characters start working on Open Source Objects.
- No-Dialogue Episode: There is no line of dialogue spoken within this short, which is surprising considering how the rest of OSO is dialogue-heavy.
- Split-Screen Reaction: After the In-Universe advertisement for OSO is shown, this happens for Brochure, Diamondy, Film Reel, and Nobody. Their reactions turn from awestruck to determined in a flash.
- Time-Passes Montage:
- A montage showing Brochure working in his office cubicle shortens a few hours of his work day into a few seconds.
- Another montage showing the construction of The Dome occurs in the last third of the short.
