Recap / Numberjacks Audio Story E 3 Football Crazy

Go To

The first of three stories, to be narrated by Seven.

Three, Four, Five and Six are in the control room when Agent 21 reports a problem. There is a big football match, where things are going wrong. Six is sent on the mission, due to his love of football.

Six is launched, but Four struggles to find numbers in a football stadium. Five suggests he uses the numbers on the back of the footballer's shirts. At last, Four finds a six, and Six lands. The footballers are too busy with the match to notice Six. From the corner flag, Six observes the match is between the blue team and the white team.

Just then, the Shape Japer turns up. She's making one of the goals far too small. Six points out the blue team won't be able to score, much to Four's disappointment, as that's his colour. The Shape Japer makes the goal low and narrow, and the blue team are very upset. Four is glad the Shape Japer hasn't messed around with the ball, just as she makes the ball massive. It's now the size of the players, making the white team angry.

Six asks the agents for help, and Agent 66 gets the numberjacks to get things back to the right size. Three sends brain gain, and Six makes the goal larger and the ball smaller. Three is happy, but the Shape Japer continues to cause trouble. She puts water inside the ball, and when one of the players kicks it, water soaks everyone. Three and Six wonder what the Shape Japer's going to do next, and she puts green slime in the ball, which goes all over a man's face.

Then the Shape Japer makes the ball solid, with wood inside. Six is concerned about the players safety, and when the Shape Japer throws the ball into the air, a man gets ready to head it. Three sends Six brain gain to make it hollow with air inside. Just in time, the man heads the ball and everything is fine. The footballers are glad all is normal, but the numberjacks still have to get rid of the Shape Japer. Three sends Six brain gain, so he can make the Shape Japer hollow, and fill her with air. When she's so full of air, the wind blows her away.

Seven challenges the viewer to look for things that are hollow with air inside them, and things that are solid.
