The Christmas special.

A malicious boy named Todd Sweeney reprograms Jenny to be evil and ruin various holidays. Even when she has returned to normal, the only person who is convinced by her pleas of innocence is Sheldon. However, Todd needs her back for one last job: destroying Christmas.

"A Robot For All Seasons" contains examples of:

  • Angel Face, Demon Face: A rather extreme example in Todd. When he learns the true meaning of Christmas, his dour, dark face cracks and falls away revealing a smiling, rosy cheeked face.
  • Christmas Episode: The episode generally revolves around Christmas.
  • Clark Kent Outfit: Subverted. When Santa busts out of his shirt, he is seen to be very buff, only for it to turn to fat.
  • Crowd Song: Parodied at the end, where Tuck asks everyone who they're singing to during the final musical number as well as how they're able to sing the lyrics flawlessly without practice.
  • Exact Words: Todd is quick to point out he said he never gets "what he wants".
  • The Faceless: The faces of Todd's parents are never shown, save for brief glimpses of their lips in their family portrait and the postcard from Tahiti.
  • Failed a Spot Check: Santa somehow failed to notice that Jenny was being mind controlled by Todd.
  • Mind-Control Eyes: When Jenny is being controlled by Todd, the shines disappear from her eyes.
  • Mythology Gag: Santa is seen in a green Santa suit.
  • Pet the Dog: Because Sheldon was the only one who believed her and helped her stop Todd, she gives him a kiss on the cheek for his Christmas present.
  • Subbing for Santa: The episode begins with Jenny filling in for Santa Claus while he's in a full-body cast.
  • Shout-Out: Todd Sweeney's name is obviously taken from Sweeney Todd. There's also little nods to Peanuts, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, and Red Dawn (1984).
  • The Unapologetic: Despite finally realizing that Jenny was only being mind controlled to ruin all holidays, Brad, Tuck, Nora, and the rest of Tremorton don't even apologize to her for trying to attack her and avoid her.
  • Under the Mistletoe: Jenny gives Sheldon a kiss on the cheek under mistletoe after helping her save Christmas.
  • Wham Line: When Jenny hears about just how long she's been gone from Sheldon.
Sheldon: Remember that morning at the mall?
Jenny: Duh, it was this morning.
Sheldon: Actually, Jenny, it was almost one year ago.
