While camping, Orel and Doughy discover the Missing Link between apes and humans frozen in a block of ice, much to their scout leader's bafflement, as Moralton dogma is that Darwinism and the Missing Link are fiction. When the Missing Link invades the church bake sale, Rev. Putty and the other adults quickly capture him and re-educate him into believing into Christianity. Soon the Missing Link is going by the name Link McMissions, working as a right-wing radio host. When he debates with a scientist about whether evolution is real, the scientist simply points out that Link is living proof of it. Link goes into hiding while the rest of Moralton hunts him down. He's eventually captured and put in the church freezer, where he freezes over until a million years later when he's discovered by Zorel, a citizen of Moralton, which has now taken over the entire United States.
