- Brutal Honesty: When the merchant tells Chris that he can't buy individual carrots, Chris assumes that giant rabbits buy his whole boxes of carrots. The merchant tells him that's not the case, he just likes to take advantage of customers.
- Bulk Buy Only: Chris has some trouble with a merchant in the Oni Region who sells boxes of apples and carrots and refuses to let him buy only a few individual ones. However, he gets the upper hand on the merchant by paying for a single apple and carrot and running off with them in hand.Merchant: Stop that kid! He's trying to get reasonable amounts of food for a fair price!
- Whole Episode Flashback: Most of the episode consists of Chris sharing the story of how he met Abel and invited him to his uncle's place for dinner.
