Mami Bibir tells Prima, Melani, and Alexi about how she met her late husband, David, which makes her miss him. Mami Bibir's birthday is nearing, so Melani has an idea to treat Mami Bibir to a dinner. Meanwhile, Alan starts to fear . In Wonosari, Bambang is encouraged to go back to Jakarta.
This episode provides examples of:
- A Day in the Limelight: Mami Bibir who usually has a supporting role to the here is the main focus.
- Aside Comment: Alexi, after spending a little bit too long talking to himself, turns to the camera to asks whether "you" enjoyed his talks.
- Ask a Stupid Question...: Alan is told that the nurse that he saw last night is not a suster ngesot ghost. He asks the now-obviously-human nurse what she is then. "Kunti" is the answer that he get.
- Bait-and-Switch Sentiment: A weird case where the lack of sentiment is treated as a good thing. Pipin cries heavily upon finding out that Wawan has left. Alan is worried until Pipin explains that she only cried because Wawan only paid a miniscule amount of money that he owed Pipin.
- Comically Missing the Point: When Prima remarks that Pipin looks like she loses something now that Alan is too busy patrolling the neighborhood to help her, Pipin gets worried that someone is losing something to a thief, causing Prima to give up on giving an explanation while Pipin is still worried.
- Foreshadowing: During the night, Alexi cleans up his room from boxes. One might think it's Wawan's unopened boxes from when he moved in, but later event in the episode makes it clear that he was moving out.
- Futureshadowing: In the pre-wedding flashback, David has a coughing fit, which subtly explain why he is dead in the present. (It's made more explicit in the next episode.)
- Literal-Minded: When Prima comments that Alan's heart is already sliced before the misunderstanding with Pipin is cleared up, Pipin thinks Alan is wounded and offers to heal him.
- Mistaken for Thief: Alan mistakes Topan for a thief in the dorm because he wears the stereotypical Indonesian thief outfit (face covered with a sarong).
- Mistaken for Undead: Alan hears a soft voice and sees a long-haired woman whose face is hidden by her hair. Naturally, he thought she is a suster ngesot.
- Shout-Out: Wawan's letter references Dilan's "don't miss me" line.
- Put on a Bus: Wawan moves out (off-screen) to take care of some inheritance in his village.
- Voiceover Letter: An unusual example as the voiceover for Wawan's letter comes from Alan, who is reading it. It's not quite Sounding It Out as the voice is clearly non-diegetic.
