* LetsYouAndHimFight: Between the Power Rangers and Masked Rider. The latter believe the former are bad guys because they said they sent a message. But the fight stopped when the Rangers mentioned Alpha 5, and Dregon's ship shot at them as well (since Dregon would not shoot at his own men).

* EvolvingCredits: Not the intro as of yet, but this is the first episode to replace the Dairanger stock footage end credits with split screen credits, featuring either alternate takes or bloopers. In this case. this and the following episode feature clips from Jason David Frank's "White Ranger Kata" video, which was released around the same time. Part 3 features proper bloopers.

Alpha 5 is depressed after recieving a distress signal from his creator, King Lexian, deposed ruler of the peaceful planet called Edenoi. Edenoi has been taken over by the evil Count Dregon and his minions. As a favor to Alpha, the Power Rangers take a trip across the galaxy to Edenoi (sans Kimberly, who is currently bed-ridden with the flu). Once there, they bump into Dregon's Plague Patrol. If that wasn't bad enough, the rebels fighting against Dregon's forces, led by a powerful superhero named Masked Rider, think the Rangers are bad guys!

* InnocuouslyImportantEpisode: The first episode to use split screen credits from then on.
