Kim and Tommy go on a date in Angel Grove Park. Kim brings the same purse with her that her mom brought on her first date with Kim's dad. Everything goes fine, until a platoon of Putties attacks and steal the purse. Lord Zedd turns it into the Pursehead monster and uses a tube of lipstick from within said purse to create the Lipsyncher monster. The White Ranger and Saba take on Pursehead, while Pink and the other Power Rangers confront Lipsyncher.

- Epic Fail: Zack is sent on his own to free Kimberly and Tommy from Pursehead's spell, only for him to get frozen in less than five seconds.
- Pursehead's defeat; Saba shoots at him once, then Tommy kicks him twice, and then he turns back into a normal purse. Lame.
- Evolving Credits: Another new intro debuts here, this one lasting until shortly into Season 3.
- The Cameo: Finster appears with Squatt and Baboo, for whatever reason, first cheering in Lipsyncer's near-victory, then chuckling to himself when she starts getting bested by the Thunderzords.
- More Deadly Than the Male: Lipsyncher proves to be a tougher opponent than Pursehead.
- Stealth Pun: During the fight with the Putties, Tommy uses a Tiger Claw karate stance.
