Feeling betrayed and confused, the Ranger teens have a tough time coping with the notion that Alpha & Zordon are turning someone other than Tommy into their newest teammate. Eventually, they're summoned to the Command Center, where the White Ranger is revealed. Whether they like him or not, the White Ranger and his White Tigerzord are needed to take out Nimrod, and AC, & DC. The other Rangers, meanwhile, have to beat Zedd's Putties in a race to reach Rita's Dumpster before Bulk & Skull can open it!

When the decision was made to bring JDF back to MMPR, Hawkins was instead moved to what was JDF's show, "Cybertron", now retooled as ''Series/VRTroopers''.
** Also, it's likely that Zordon's lines about Tommy being made the new leader was not intended to be that. All evidence points to Zordon referring to Tommy as the new '''member''' of the power team and that Tommy had '''rejoined''' the ranks of the rangers. The decision was probably made soon after Austin St. John left alongside Walter Jones and Thuy Trang due to salary disputes.

* ContinuitySnarl: When Kim and the other rangers go to stop Rita, a squad of putties gets in their way, she declares that Zedd must be trying to get Rita too, but Zedd himself is never shown to be aware that Rita ever crashed on Earth.
