"Canned" is the second season 4 short of the new Mickey Mouse (2013) series created by Paul Rudish for the Disney Channel and Disney.com. It's the 60th to air on the Disney Channel and to be put up on Disney.com
Mickey tries to help a little old goat lady with her trash, only to discover how much trash she actually has.
Tropes:
- Abhorrent Admirer: A large female fly gazes at Mickey while he's wearing his hazard suit and mistakes him for a male fly. Needless to say, he's downright repulsed afterwards.Large Fly: (lovingly) A MAN! (smooches Mickey and carries him off screen)
Mickey: (walks back on screen in his normal clothes, feeling violated and possibly traumatized) Bleh! (wipes his mouth) - Furry Reminder: The goat-lady often bleats like an actual goat.
- The Cameo: Mickey shovels out Oswald the Lucky Rabbit from the garbage mound and is promptly thrown into a can with the rest of the trash.
- Deus ex Machina: The dump just happens to be at the bottom of the cliff that Mickey falls down with all the garbage.
- Here We Go Again!: After returning to the goat lady's house, she asks Mickey if it wouldn't be a bother to help recycle all her newspapers, which fills up most of her house.Mickey: (jaw drops) It's never a bother. (faints)

- The steamboat from Steamboat Willie is among the garbage that gets shoveled.
- An old school Mickey Mouse telephone is also among the garbage.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: The garbageman's reaction to seeing all the trash cans Mickey has amounted.
- Shout-Out:
- Mickey running on top of the large ball of garbage is one to Katamari Damacy.
- Goofy is somehow playing poker
with some rats inside the garbage.
