In Jersey City, Megas gets into a fight with a strange dragon creature. The dragon resembles "Trogdor The Burninator" from the "Homestar Runner" body of work. It is revealed that it comes from a game, and that Coop accidently released the monster into the real world, when he was playing a game on Megas. They managed to return the dragon back into the game, but not before Kiva gives Coop a stern talking to.
At Coop's house, Coop & Jamie are watching their high school football team, the Jersey City Goose Eggs, take on another team in a playoff game. Kiva gets in the way and turns off the TV. Kiva slams Coop for using Megas irresponsibly. Coop says that it is his robot, and he should be able to use it how he wants. Kiva remarks that Megas belongs to her and that the only reason Coop even has it was because, Coop modified Megas beyond her use. Jamie chimes in that he thought Megas belonged to the Glorft. Kiva asks Jamie to stay out of the conversation.
As Coop & Kiva argue, Jamie is reading a book on the history of Jersey City, when he comes a cross a page that has an old photo of Coop & Jamie on it. It is revealed that these are Coop & Jamie's ancestors. Brave lawmen who tamed the lawlessness of Jersey Gulch at least over 150 years ago. Both Coop & Jamie think that this is cool. Coop asks how come Megas isn't mentioned. Kiva responds that she sent Megas back to the year 1936, which was at least 100 years after Jersey Gulch. Coop & Jamie fantasize what it would have been like if Megas was sent back even further.
A huge dream sequence occurs. It is now in the 1800's in Jersey Gulch. Coop, who goes by the moniker, Coop Cassady & Jamie, who is now known as Jamie the Kid, ride into Jersey Gulch looking for work. Upon arrival, their horses are stolen and they are held at gunpoint by criminals. Coop manages to beat the criminals who run away. Coop asks around why there is no sheriff. An undertaker responds that the previous sheriff was killed by bandits. The undertaker then offers them the position of sheriff and deputy, which they take as it gives them free food & drink at the Surly Goat, a tavern in town.
They decided to take up the offer and enter the Surly Goat. They order a pair of root bear slushies and drink. The bartender, who is Goat, tells them that this will most likely be the last drink they will ever have. It is here that they learn of the horrible Glorft Gang, a band of outlaws who practically run the town. Coop says he is not afraid of any criminals and that he will handle it. Coop then asks for something to eat. Goat directs them to a table that he and Jamie can sit at. Coop and Jamie are served by the waitress, who is Jenna. Coop is smitten with her and she is with Coop as well.
Eventually the Glorft Gang approach and demand the sheriff and deputy leave town. Coop refuses. Kiva, who is the bouncer at the establishment tells Gorrath to take the fight outside. Gorrath then tells Coop that they will have a shootout. While, Coop gets ready, Jamie tries to leave town. Coop attempts to talk Jamie into staying, even giving a heartwarming speech, but Jamie still intends on leaving. However the Glorft return and demand Coop show himself as it is Noon. Coop looks at his watch and sees that is it only 11 AM. It turns out that Daylight/Moonlight savings time was yesterday and that it is actually Noon. They have no choice but to go and face the Glorft gang.
At the shootout, the Glorft have the upper hand and blast Coop & Jamie. Gorrath celebrates, when Coop & Jamie get back up. It turns out that they are wearing bulletproof vests. Coop & Jamie proceed to knock the blasters out of the Glorft's hands. Gorrath then summons several mechs to engage with Coop & Jamie. Coop responds by summoning Megas.
Megas & the Glorft fight. Megas is controlled by a chuck wagon that is pulled by several horses. Coop uses the ropes to have Megas do the things Coop wants it to do. During the fight, one of the horses explode, causing Megas to lose horsepower. Evenutally, Megas manages to come back and defeat the Glorft. Gorrath then grabs Jenna from the crowd and threatens to crush her if Coop doesn't back off. Coop proceeds to surrender, only for it to be a trick. Coop manages to save Jenna. Gorrath then tries to self-destruct his mech, taking all of Jersey Gulch with it. Megas creates an energy lasso and wraps it around Gorrath's mech. Megas then hurls it into the air where it explodes. Coop & Jamie are celebrated as heroes.
Back to reality, it shows that Kiva is impressed by Coop & Jamie's ancestors and realize that they were just as destructive as Coop is. Jamie asks why they aren't rich or famous. Jamie then goes back to see if he can find a way to profit off of this.
