Ice Man enters his and Aqua Man's secret base and finds Zoan Freeze Man hiding there trying to recuperate from injuries he sustained from a trap Gregar's army set for him.
- Chekhov's Gag: Mega Man mentions Ice Man has a birth mark on his behind. Trill tries to pull down Ice Man's pants to see it. This would become mildly important in Beast + as Aqua Man shows it to Roll and Guts Man to prove Ice Man isn't a Phantom Navi imposter.
- Innocuously Important Episode: This might seem like a filler episode at first, but the communicator Ice Man retrieves for Zoan Freeze Man would play a vital role near the end of the season in order for Dr. Hikari to communicate with Lan when the cast are trapped in Beyondard.
- Killed Off for Real: Zoan Freeze Man and Zoan Stone Man are deleted in the episode they debuted in.
- Kill It with Ice: Mega Man freezes Zoan Stone Man using an Ice Ball battle chip and then shoots the frozen Stone Man, deleting him via body shattering.
- Not Now, Kiddo: Ice Man tries to turn to Tori, Aqua Man, Shuko, Lan, and Mega Man for help, but as they're all busy, they brush him off.
- Scissors Cuts Rock: Mega Man is able to slice one of Stone Man's boulders with a sword chip.
- Sympathy for the Devil: Ice Man notices Zoan Freeze Man is seriously injured and can't bring himself to leave the Zoanoroid like that. He breaths ice on the crack of Freeze Man's arms and later brings Recover chips.
