Chisato and Takina are tasked with escorting the hacker "Walnut".
Tropes:
- Dodge the Bullet: We see Chisato's bullet-dodging skills here.
- Enforced Method Acting: In-Universe, Mika didn't want to depend on Chisato's and Takina's acting skills, so he didn't tell them about the ruse so that their reactions would be real.
- Faking the Dead: The whole operation turned out to be a ruse to fake Walnut's death.
- Foreshadowing: Walnut panics for a moment when Takina tries to use her suitcase as cover. She claims it's because it has important documents in it and orders them to protect it. It seems rather strange that she'd be that concerned about some documents. It turns out that's where she was actually hiding the whole time.
- Shock-and-Switch Ending: It appears that Walnut has been gunned down and the duo have failed their mission, but then it turns out it was Mizuki wearing heavy body armor serving as a decoy, and nobody actually died. The whole thing was just a ruse to fake Walnut's death.
