Kendra loses the memories of her past lives and her powers, Ray becomes rather reluctant to leave his life as a physics teacher and Sara pulls a FaceHeelTurn upon rejoining the League of Assassins.

** Aside from Sara, Ray is the only other member of the team who's actually been to headquarters of the League of Assassins, moaning about how he can't believe he's back (and imprisoned again, in the same cell, no less).

* FaceHeelTurn: Sara when she goes back to the League of Assassins she gets better.

* IKnowYouAreInThereSomewhereFight: Between Kendra and Sara. It finally works when Kendra reminds her she was the White Canary at sword's point.

** Nyssa's much more well known sister, Talia, is finally mentioned.

* SpoilerOpening: The "PreviouslyOn" in the opening is said by Mick suggesting his bigger role in the episode... despite him being supposedly KilledOffForReal a few episodes ago. Creator/DominicPurcell also appears in the credits here and in the previous episode as well.

* ThisIsGonnaSuck: Ray's reaction to going back to Nanda Parbat...[[Recap/ArrowS3E22ThisIsYourSword again]].

* Didn'tThinkThisThrough: Rip, for two different reasons when calling for a trial by combat. One, because none of the Legends, even himself stand a chance against someone like [[TheDreadedRa's Al-Ghul]], and two, because Ra's can send in anyone he likes in his place.

* UnexpectedCharacter: Turns out Talia Al-Ghul exists in the Franchise/{{Arrowverse}}.

* BrokenStreak: This is the first League of Assassins trial by combat that doesn't have Oliver, as well as involvement by Nyssa. To be fair, neither of them have been born yet during the time the episode takes place.

** We finally get to meet Nyssa's much more well known sister, Talia.

* EasilyForgiven: The entire team save Kendra and Snart is apparently forgetting that Mick betrayed the team ''before'' he got picked up by the Time Masters and wants to reform him. Of course the fact that Mick actually did save their bacon a few times, like when he got Ray out of that Gulag.
