After a confrontation against the Void, Kai'Sa makes an unlikely ally .

Big Damn Heroes: Kai'Sa is assisted in escaping from a void chasm by Taliyah who uses her stone weaving to fend of voidlings and create climbable surfaces to get out.
The Cameo:
- Some of the children at the camp tell stories about the Azir and the fall of his empire, and others about the origins of the Darkin. Apparently "none are believable"
- Kadira, aka the Desert Naturalist from Legends of Runeterra is present at Taliyah's camp.
Five-Second Foreshadowing: As Kai'Sa is scrambling to climb out of the chasm she's stuck in, swarming with voidlings trying to kill her, she notices the earth around it shifting and throwing the monsters off her trail. Then she sees that series of rocky steps are forming in the wall for her to climb onto. All of this foreshadows the appearance of Taliyah who's using her stone weaving to save Kai'Sa.
Friend or Foe?: Taliyah's first response on seeing an armored Kai'Sa is to subdue her with rocks. Except then she sees through a crack in the latter's mask that she's actually human, and immediately ceases any retaliation.
