While the kids bake Bessie Busybody a surprise birthday cake, Robbie Rotten steals it and frames Sportacus for the theft. Posing as a detective, he stacks evidence against Sportacus and successfully gets him locked in jail. it's up to the kids to find evidence of the real culprit!
This episode contains examples of:
- Early-Installment Weirdness: During the "Disguise Time" segment, Robbie dismisses his own normal outfit as "Too scary". Later episodes would have him occasionally stop to compliment his own outfit just before choosing the disguise for the episode.
- Frame-Up: Robbie frames Sportacus for stealing and eating Bessie's cake.
- Kangaroo Court: Robbie Rotten sets up one to frame Sportacus of theft of the cake meant for Bessie, with the mayor as the judge. However, he asks Sportacus if no one saw him stealing the cake, and when Sportacus points out the absurdity of the question, he uses it as a confession, and also takes advantage of the Mayor's stupidity by doing an eye test on him to declare Sportacus guilty. Stingy, Stephanie, Ziggy and Pixel all lampshade how none of the trial makes sense.
