Go To

Written By Brianna Yellen

Directed By Peter Werner

SVU finds itself swamped one Friday night as three cases seem to all happen within mere minutes of midnight: a domestic violence/marital rape case, a transgender prostitute having been raped by a man she had only just met that night, and a wealthy young woman claiming to have been raped by her Uber driver. The onslaught of cases make tempers high and patience run thin, particularly Tamin who struggles with investigating her case: the transgender rape victim. Meanwhile Rollins lashes out at Carisi, claiming she is upset that Carisi left his position as a detective to become an ADA, indicating she misses the time they used to spend together.

  • Anguished Outburst: Exhaustion and stress leads to Rollins to confront Carisi with her real feelings about his move to the ADA's office, starting with the fact that he left SVU understaffed and taking a hard left into Amanda's very personal feelings of abandonment and frustration that he couldn't see that she's been faking enthusiasm about his new role.
  • Wham Line: Amanda's "I would be fine if you were right here beside me," aimed at Sonny.
