The villagers find a giant covered in leaves in the forest. Ravenwaves plans to use him to her advantage and orders Hairball to impede Kirk from telling Lady Lovely Locks. Hairball creates a giant, roaring monster made of leaves to scare Kirk away, then traps him in a cave. Ravenwaves' Comb Gnomes scare the other villagers away, and she takes the unconscious giant away in a cart. Meanwhile, the Pixietails free Kirk and tell Lady and the maidens what happened.
Lady and the others arrive too late to save the giant, but find the cart's tracks. At Ravenwaves' castle, Hairball creates a potion so the giant will serve them. Shining Glory tells Lady to go to the Cave of Grell to find a solution to the problem. Ravenwaves goads the giant into going after Lady by telling him she means him harm, while Lady is able to lure the giant into the cave. Inside, she finds a female giant, who is the sleeping giant's mother. Reunited and free of the spell, the giant thanks Lady for her help, while Ravenwaves fumes over her latest failure.
