One day, a small purple seed falls into Barry's garden. A second later, a small flower with purple petals grows in its place. Barry finds a flower and transplants it into a bucket without noticing that it has thrown away a few more seeds.Krash and Chiko arrive to Barry to collect harvest. When they approach the house, they notice that the whole garden is overgrown by huge purple flowers. Barry explains that the weed has took over his garden. Krash and Chiko rush to help and uproot the plants, but to no result.
Chiko and Barry decide to poison the weed with a special solution and sprayed it all over the garden in gas masks. Suddenly, Chiko got tangled, and Barry is in hurry to rescue him. But the flexible shoots throw them up in the air, and they fall on the leaves. Suddenly, the weed began to rapidly increase in size and grow. One of the flowers carries Chiko high up and he finds himself in a closed bud. The buds of other plants continue to stretch upwards, some even break away from the stems and fly away. Chiko manages to break through the bud wall, but jumping down is too dangerous. Barry climbs the stem and holds tight to Chiko. The flower comes off and the two begin falling down. The weed begins something Chiko explains as "Apotheosis" and starts taking off with Barry's garden. Barry and Chiko escape thanks to Barry's toilet.
Barry's house, Krash's wheelbarrow, and all of the harvest start falling on the ground. Krash catches another falling weed seed and eats it, preventing the weed invasion from happening again.
Tropes
- Alien Kudzu: The weed clearly has an alien origin and even flies into space in the finale.
- Running Gag: Krash eats one of the plants and his stomach starts hurting, prompting him to hurry in the bushes. He does this two more times later on, indicating that these plants are very unhealthy. The ending shows him eating a seed, causing the exact same results.
