Other dub names: Movie Madness (4Kids); Foggy Joshi (Studio 100)

The KikoRiki try to film a movie about Chiko landing on the meteorite and encountering extraterrestrial intelligence (Played by the Iron Nanny). The screening is interrupted when the meteorite was supposed to suddenly fly into a cosmic nebula, but the fog doesn't appear. Pin, who is responsible for special effects, tells Krash (the director) that his fog-producing machine is malfunctioning and will be fixed soon. Krash announces a break, but ends just as soon, when Pin repairs the machine and envelops the set in fog.

Chiko is looking for a monster in the fog, but when he finds it, it starts chasing him without paying attention to his blaster. Chiko hides behind a big tree. Meanwhile, confusion reigns on the set. Dokko has lost the Iron Nanny, and Krash is worried about friend. Chiko discovers that he lost his blaster while running. He finds it in the Iron Nanny's hand. He snatches it and tries to escape, but constantly bumps into the same objects and falls off a cliff into the river. Meanwhile, Dokko finally brings the Iron Nanny back to the set. The babysitter knocks him down, grabs the dropped remote control, and runs away with it.

The fog begins to dissipate. Chiko lets the river carry him, and is soon found by Krash sitting on the log. He complains that this fog has ruined the whole day, and they will not be able to shoot a bunch of scenes in one day. Chiko looks at the stars; he doesn't know where they are, but he knows for sure that they are all on the same piece of rock, rushing through infinite space.

Tropes:

  • Percussive Maintenance: The fog machine only starts working after Pin kicks it.
  • Shout-Out: The whole episode references Hedgehog in the Fog, all with it's premise of a hedgehog character getting lost in the nebula, some of the phrases and background music.
  • Stargazing Scene: The final scene, where Krash and Chiko reunite, the latter spends most of it monologuing while staring at the stars.
