Other dub names: Dreams in the Sky (4Kids); Pin the Sleeping Pilot! (Studio 100)

One evening, Pin finds a comic book about "Captain Kolobo" among his blueprints. The book fascinated him so much, he was reading it the whole night. But just when he finishes reading and goes to sleep, the alarm clock wakes him up: He is supposed to help Barry and drop fertilizers on the wheat fields using his plane, and it's too late to re-schedule.

Pin takes off, taking with him the raft to which the hydroplane was tied to and flew to the field. He successfully drops fertilizers, but when he gets to the second run, he falls asleep at the helm. No longer in the control of what he is doing on the plane, he start driving recklessly, causing mischief to Krash, Chiko and Pin on the way. Outraged, they demand an explanation from Barry, but he himself does not understand anything.

The plane picks up Carlin, prompting him to get to the cockpit and wake Pin up, but the plane is already badly damaged and is about to crash land. Pin and Carlin eject and land in a haystack. Carlin comes out of the situation unscratched, but Pin suffered some heavy injuries.

Tropes:

  • Buzzing the Deck: While asleep, Pin directs the plane at his friends and takes off at the last moment. He does that the second time, dropping fertilizers on them.
  • Continuity Nod: Krash is seen painting his bench the exact same way he did in the very first episode
  • Dreary Half-Lidded Eyes: Pin, during Barry's briefing on his task.
  • Fell Asleep Driving: Pin was going to help Barry spray chemicals on his wheat fields, but got distracted by "Captain Kolobo" comics and didn't get enough sleep the night prior. What follows is a bunch of shenanigans caused by Pin falling asleep on the plane, all Played for Laughs. He only wakes up after accidentally picking up Carlin and having him yell for Pin to stop sleeping. Both safely escape the plane just a few seconds before it crashes, though Pin still ends up suffering heavy injuries.
  • Shout-Out: The episode's name is lifted from a 1983 Soviet film.
  • Sleepless Alarm Clock: Pin's alarm clock goes off just a few seconds after he decides to stop reading and sleep.
  • Stuka Scream: A falling hydroplane makes exactly such sounds.
