Chiko is fishing on the pier. Suddenly, he sees a colored piece of paper floating on the water. He catches it and sees that it is a photograph of a beautiful hedgehog against a background of palm trees. At the bottom was the caption: Lily, and the top edge looks torn off. Chiko hides the photo in a book and tries to hide it from Krash, but the latter finds a photo anyway.Krash assumes that Lily has been shipwrecked and is waiting for rescue on the island. Chiko decides to rescue Lily urgently. He hastily gathers his things and runs to the rowing boat, not paying attention to the beginning storm. Krash, realizing that he will not be able to keep his friend, gets into the boat with him. The sea waves quickly carry away the oars and cover the boat.
In the morning, when the storm subsided, Krash wakes up from the sound overboard. He looks into the water and starts laughing so hard that he falls overboard. Turns out, Lily was just a lemonade brand, not a girl in need for rescue.
Tropes
- Foreshadowing: At the very beginning, before noticing a paper with Lily's image on it, Chiko also sees a small green bottle but doesn't put much attention to it. This foreshadows that Lily is not what Krash and Chiko initially assume to be.
- Shout-Out: Among Chiko's belongings is the Soviet magazine "Murzilka".
- Hostile Weather: A storm occurs just as Krash and Chiko decide to travel to the sea and find Lily.
