Dokko and Carlin are playing billiards, and Rosa is looking for mushrooms nearby but can't find anything. Carlin and Dokko tell her to look for mushrooms near three oaks and explain how to get there. Rosa is confused by their explanations, and then Dokko draws a map for her on a piece of paper.

Late in the evening, a tired Rosa returns and says that, following their map, she did not find any oaks but only reached a dried-up swamp. Dokko and Carlin ask her in detail about the path she has traveled and discover that she mistook the spring for a stream and turned too early. Dokko decides to find a map of the island for her, but after examining all the shelves in her house, she discovers that the map is not there. Carlin offers to make it, and Dokko starts sketching. The sheet of paper ends quickly, and Dokko complains that he took too large a scale, but Carlin puts down another sheet of paper, and the drawing continues. Rosa gets tired and goes to sleep in a hammock. Dokko draws a map until the paper runs out, and then he starts drawing right on the billiard table.

In the morning, when Rosa wakes up, she sees that a huge map of stones is laid out in the clearing, Dokko is sleeping on the billiard table, and Carlin is nowhere to be seen. Rosa wakes up Dokko, and he tells her that Carlin has gone to draw a map of Peru. Carlin comes out from behind the trees and shows Rosa his map, on which his friend Miguel's cafe is drawn, the beach where he was sunbathing under an umbrella, and a shop where you can buy a bamboo pipe. Of course, there are a lot more attractions there, but he only imagined the essentials.
