Krash and Chiko are rummaging through Pin's hangar. Chiko got bored with this and offers Krash to have fun on the swings, but his friend suddenly finds some mysterious device. Pin explains that it is a telegraph - a means of communication. Krash and Chiko find the machine cool and ask Pin to borrow it.
Now, the two can communicate remotely, without having to visit each other. Bypassing Wally likes this idea of telegraphs and takes another one from Pin. Very soon, telegraphs appear in every house and KikoRiki communicate remotely, forgetting about household chores. Everybody's happy... Untill Krash's telegraph breaks down.
Krash asks Pin to fix it, but the penguin can't do it, and he doesn't have any more telegraphs left. Frustrated, Krash goes to Chiko and asks to have fun on the swings, but his friend is too busy sending messages.
Krash is found by Carlin, who didn't get a telegraph and was left wondering where's anybody. Krash explains what happened, and the old bird proclaims that the rabbit got very lucky. He decides to destroy every telegraph, while everyone's sleeping.
Next morning, all the KikoRiki gather near the Pin hangar, surrounding their broken telegraphs. They don't know what to do now, but Carlin reminds them of the importance of real communication. After all, now you can visit each other again, hear laughter and give gifts.
